Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Business Development associate to join our team at Buffalo Computer Recycling. This role is crucial in helping us expand our electronic recycling services by directly engaging with businesses and individual clients to facilitate the recycling of their unused or outdated electronic equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the electronics recycling industry, and the ability to build relationships while promoting our recycling services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with businesses and individual clients to promote and facilitate the recycling of electronic equipment.
• Assess clients' recycling needs and provide tailored solutions that align with our environmental goals.
• Negotiate service terms and organize the collection of electronic items for recycling.
• Coordinate with clients and logistics teams to ensure efficient and timely pickups.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and feedback.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Achieve targets for client engagement and contribute to the overall success and sustainability of the recycling programs.

Qualifications:

• Experience in acquisitions, purchasing, or a related field, preferably within the electronics sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in related fields is a plus.
