Boulo Solutions is Hiring a Project Manager Near Fort Collins, CO

HYBRID | FULL-TIME
Boulo Solutions is recruiting for a Project Manager for our client, an innovative technology company in the renewable energy space in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The Project Manager will expand our Solution Delivery team and provide project management for customer projects, managing final testing of solutions before releasing to customers, site readiness evaluation, commissioning, as-deployed documentation, and tracking customer-facing quotes, purchase orders, deliverables, and payment milestones. This position requires interfacing with and sharing responsibilities with the company's sales, development, delivery, and administrative teams, along with customers, partners, and vendors. The position also requires working across many time zones for internal development and external delivery.
Employment type: Full-time
Flexibility: Hybrid in Fort Collins, CO
Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 per year plus benefits
Responsibilities of the Project Manager position
  • Manage Solution Delivery process from project inception to project close-out.
  • Manage Solution Delivery process to meet profit targets while maintaining schedule, quality, and delivery milestones.
  • Educate stakeholders, internal and external, on customer needs and expectations.
  • Manage project-level customer communications and interactions, including schedule and scope expectations and change management.
  • Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)/Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
  • Serve as internal customer advocate, ensure complete and quality solution delivery.
  • Coordinate FAT and SAT processes with customers including, scheduling, issue resolution, and management of bug reporting, tracking and resolution.
  • Manage solution documentation system, perform technical writing and editing as well as coordination of documentation with developers and stakeholders.
  • Manage “As-Built” documentation for each project.
  • Manage User Manuals and Technical Documentation delivery to customers.
  • Assist in the creation of training materials.
  • Serve as point of contact for customers after a project has been successfully delivered.
  • Document, triage, and assign resources for issue reporting and resolution.
  • Master the company's product and be capable of leading discussions to evaluate issues, generate options for management’s consideration, and verify solutions.
  • Master and use company platform for project management, license management, and product design and validation.
Requirements for the Project Manager position
  • BS degree in engineering, business, technical writing, or related field
  • 3 years in project management, preferably in customer-facing energy services, renewable or distributed energy applications, energy storage, or technical solutions delivery.
  • Familiarity with power generation equipment, renewable technologies, transmission/distribution systems, and end-use applications a plus
  • Experience with technical writing, product documentation, whitepapers, or related document authoring
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, and Visio; familiar with Adobe Acrobat Professional, TechSmith Snagit, Smartsheet, and other common office tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with customers to manage scope and expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project delivery within budget and on schedule.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, refine and present customer needs and expectations to internal stakeholders, and manage changing requirements.
  • Ambitious, highly motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Result oriented, well-organized, and able to communicate efficiently and effectively.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.
