Job Description
An established IP law firm located in downtown Boston seeks an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support the Legal team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, meticulously detail oriented, extremely focused and should always exercise proper discretion .This firm is open to candiates without IP experience ! If you have 1-2 years working in a support role at a law firm this is the opporttunity for you to transition in the hottest are of legal, IP! Firm offers a gnerous salsey and great working environment and beautiful offices.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the legal team with day to day operations
- Prepare and edit communication and legal documents
- Maintain filing system; filing and retrieving documents
- Enter time in time management software and prepare monthly bills
- Assist legal team with executing and distributing closing documents
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering and managing phones, faxing, copying, arranging meetings and courier and overnight delivery services
- Facilitate signature and approvals on closing documents
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience in administration, preferably in a law firm or similar field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment
