As the Account Executive you’ll be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day service for our largest self-funded medical client. Key responsibilities include:

• Establishes a good working relationship with program managers, appointed representatives, agents and consultants
• Reviews and finds opportunities to streamline current processes to become more efficient.
• Reviews and delivers special/ad hoc report requests from program managers/clients/agents.
• Support internal Account Manager and Member Advocates on escalated issues
• Provide clarification of plan information for claims team and Prime Dx
• Monitor and maintain services provided by outside vendors
• Assists with implementation and training meetings for new groups
• Present medical benefits at Open Enrollment meetings
• Attend Best Practices Conference, industry conferences, and other client meetings as requested
• Furnishes all departments with plan information necessary to fulfill their responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned based on client and business needs

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years’ experience in Account Management
• Experience & education may be substituted for one another
• Knowledge of claims processing & the Eldorado system (preferred)
• Skilled in relationship building, with strong communication skills (interpersonal & written)
• Highly responsive and communicative
• Proactive and organized
• Comfortable with software and technology and willing to learn new systems
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
• Able to accurately compile data, perform detailed work & maintain confidential information
• Able to meet deadlines and turnaround time requirements
• Able to maintain attendance & present a professional appearance & demeanor
• Able to work well with others

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 80% of the time.
• Must use close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal and expansive reading.
• Must be able to lift or move items up to 20lbs.
• Must have the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
