Our rapidly growing privately owned small fitness equipment company is looking for a dynamic, energetic, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial Operations Manager. The Operations Manager position will support the General Manager in running the operations and maximizing the profitability of Bolt Fitness Supply. Compensation is based on previous work experience . Qualified candidates will possess:

• A strong work ethic.
• 2 years of previous operations management/supervisory experience (10 employees or more) Managing in a fitness related field, bilingual English-Spanish, and/or a college degree are a plus.
• 2 years’ experience in driving multiple revenue streams (selling new and preowned strength and cardio equipment sales, delivery and installs, and after sales service a plus).
• Experience managing an electronic Point-of-Sale and project management system.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills both in person and over the phone
• Provide solution-based, results-oriented ideas for marketing and business development
• Experience managing training programs and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Understanding our financing options and how to receive payments. Cash management.
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
• Strong sales experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Strong desire to help others reach their health and fitness goals.]
• Must know how to multi-task and manage both the front and back of the house employees.

The core responsibilities of the Operations Manager are as follows:

• Assign daily tasks to all employees and drive productivity through effective shift management techniques.
• Help to manage the inventory of the business.
• Check all equipment prior to dispatch to maintain quality standards.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly sales follow-up.
• Address customer questions and concerns.
• Manage several departments within the organization to maximize results.
• Hands-on supervision of deliveries and installations for flawless execution.
• Manage the flow of the shift to maximize the customer experience.

Prerequisites

• Must have reliable transportation
• Weekends are mandatory.
• This job involves working 6 days per week
• Some overnight travel may be necessary while supervising installations
• Proven references are required
