Bright Event Rentals is hiring an Operations Manager as a full-time, permanent job in Houston, TX.
We are looking for a dynamic, detail oriented friendly Operations Manager. The Operation Manager is a key member of the senior management team and is an experienced, efficient and effective leader who possesses excellent people skill, business acumen and exemplary work ethics. The predominant goal of the Operation Manager is to strengthen operations to support extensive and sustainable growth while maintaining high-quality service to all of Bright's operation functions.Bright Event Rentals, a member of the Trivest portfolio of companies, is a leader in the full-service event rental industry. Bright provides high-quality special event rental equipment and planning services to caterers, event planners, resorts, universities, award shows, corporate clients, and wedding planners throughout California, Arizona, and Texas. We operate from eight locations in California, Arizona, and Texas with 1,000 team members.
Responsibilities:
Manage all areas of Bright Operations to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.Work closely with the General Manager and Business Development team to achieve revenue targets.Manage building and property functions including maintenance and repair.Empower and develop staff through training initiatives, mentorship, and coaching.Hire the right people for the right roles, provide corrective counseling, address complaints timely, mediate and resolve concerns, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Communicate job expectations to Operations Team MembersAdhere to company policies and proceduresIdentify process improvement opportunitiesMaintain inventory and suppliesKeep equipment in good and safe working order
