SUMMARY

Paragon Professional Services, LLC (Paragon), a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a Senior Program/Business Development Manager to support Environmental Operations nationwide. Primarily responsible for the identifying opportunities for environmental and/or construction services, supporting proposal development, networking with current and potential clients, program management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of projects to meet the cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and bidding of major projects. The qualified Manager may be asked to lead project teams to the successful completion of contracts, ensuring on time on budget goals or may be asked to lead proposal and business development teams in the pursuit of large contracts. This position reports to Vice President of Environmental Services.

$130,000-$140,000/yr

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Operations staff through identification of business opportunities with a focus on federal government contracting.
• Manage or support proposal activity.
• Program Management for contract activities
• Attend Operations meetings and prepare and support corporate documentation as required.
• Attend conferences, pre-bid meetings, and meetings as needed. Travel is a component of this position.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

• 15 years of experience on engineering, construction, or remediation projects
• BS in Engineering, Geology or similar field
• Professional Registration a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Advanced computer skills
• Experience with scheduling
• Program and project management experience
• Experience with Salesforce or similar client and opportunity management software

Preferred

• Superb organization skills
• Good communicator
• Multitasking – Can handle many assignments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Travel will be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hires and supervises direct reports when performing program management functions.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
