Becca is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our New York office.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role, switching between strategy, media relations and creative events/activations. Reporting to an Account Director or VP, the candidate will play a large part in helping to establish develop the agency’s hospitality division. This is a full-time position based in New York City with a flexible in-office schedule.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 3-4 years of experience in public relations/marketing within food & beverage or travel
  • Prior agency experience
  • Genuine interest in hospitality and passion for our roster of clients
  • Strong knowledge of NYC and corresponding markets

Job responsibilities include:

CLIENT MEDIA RELATIONS

  • Work closely with Account Directors or VPs to provide higher-level day-to-day support to clients
  • Develop and implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple client accounts
  • Serve as client lead
  • Maintain high-level media relationships; dine out with senior contacts attend desk-side meetings with clients
  • Manage junior team members (AE/AC) and overall workload on all accounts
  • Generate placements in national local publications on a consistent basis
  • Actively participate in client meetings calls, ensuring all participants have a role/purpose

ADMIN SUPPORT ORGANIZATION

  • Prepare/review meeting call agendas and action items, monthly or weekly activity reports
  • Develop and maintain media lists and databases
  • Conduct research for media targets, influencer partnerships and event lists

EVENTS

  • Oversee client agency events including, but not limited to: event curation development, invite list management, onsite attendance, client/host facilitation, pitching monitoring for post-event coverage, post-event follow up with clients attendees
  • Curate provide strategic counsel on invite lists for various client or agency-related happenings – openings, social media-driven initiatives, product seedings, press visits, trips, etc.
  • Represent Becca at industry and agency events/happenings

AGENCY RELATIONS

  • Actively participate in all-team meetings and brainstorms
  • Read the papers, relevant lifestyle food magazines and websites; monitor for placements of our clients as well as information relevant to the industry to be shared with Becca staff
  • Suggest draft posts for the Becca social media feeds on a consistent basis, ensuring your clients are regularly represented and relevant events high-level press are incorporated
  • Make industry introductions and bring partnership opportunities to the larger team

Salary range for this position is $65K - $85K, depending on experience.
