We are seeking a friendly, upbeat person to join our salon team! We are a locally owned and operated hair salon in need of a part-time Front Desk Associate to start as soon as possible. Our staff has been working together for many years and we are excited to welcome another person to our fun-loving team!
The main shift hours are Wednesday and Thursdays from 12:00 pm - 7:30 pm, with more flexibility of shifts in the future. The pay rate is $13 per hour, with the opportunity to earn commission on retail sales. We will also compensate you for assisting stylists with shampooing clients.
You must possess the following to be considered:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Customer service experience
Experience answering phones
Reliable transportation
Attention to detail
Ability to maintain composure under pressure
Positive attitude
Bonus but not required:
Experience working in beauty industry
Knowledge of Bumble & Bumble and Aveda products
Interest in beauty industry trends
Your duties will consist of (but are not limited to) the following:
Assisting stylists (this includes shampooing clients when needed)
Answering phones
Greeting clients
Scheduling appointments
Selling retail products
Working the register
Tidying desk and retail area
