Job Summary:
We are looking for a competitive insurance agent to help generate new business by managing the sales staff and by also contacting potential customers. You will manage staff as they sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of our assigned or prospective customers, helping to implement company policies and procedures. The goal is to build a strong, positive sales team to ensure growth attainment and increase our firm’s reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage agents and CSRs to help them develop their sales skills and closing techniques
- Setting and monitoring sales objectives
- Report the sales progress of staff on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Providing sales strategies, feedback, and marketing plans
- Process policy changes, claims, and renewals
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance policies
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns
Experience:
- Management experience in insurance or similar sector (3 years)
- Proven experience as an Insurance Agent or similar role (License required)
- Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement company policy
