DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Craft compelling and accurate sales proposals, ensuring alignment proposed customer needs and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and create proposals that effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports to track KPIs and assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for proposal templates and data analysis methodologies.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate current statuses and data analysis.
  • Maintain and update the CRM to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to streamline proposal creation and data analysis.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between sales and other departments to optimize revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Support the planning and execution of Revenue Operation events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis or a similar role
  • Experience in proposal or grant writing, preferred
  • Proven ability to work under high-pressure deadlines
  • Ability to help implement proposal strategy.

Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements 

  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Travel is required both domestically and internationally and is estimated to at 10%.
  • Must have ability to work outside of standard business hours to accommodate international support.

Physical Requirements

  • Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
  • Equipment and Machines
  • Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Skills

  • Must be extraordinarily organized and be able to manage multiple requests in a dynamic environment
  • Prioritize and follow-through on all work
  • Excellent communicator with exceptional written grammar and spelling
  • Deliver above and beyond customer service internally and externally
  • Strong computer skills and experience with CRM software a plus
  • Must possess strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive; creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • Self-assured and energetic self-starter; proactive about learning and motivated to take on additional responsibilities over time
  • Strong team skills with ability to understand dependencies and impact on schedules
