WHERE YOU FIT IN

Generally, facilitates and supports direct and/or indirect sales activities. Performs essential pre-deal tasks to support and manage the initial deal request for the sales team.

Reporting into the Sr. Customer Support Manager, the role requires self-motivated, dedicated, and responsible individual with the ability to perform well under pressure.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibilities include the review and processing of C&I pricing requests in the CRM system. 
  • Submits custom pricing requests and provides support of activity management in the CRM system. 
  • Responsible for general understanding of requirements for a complete RFP.
  • Manage a shared inbox with established SLAs.
  • Communicate with team members and sales team when necessary. 
  • Communicates to partners with information requests, if necessary.
  • Works closely with the sales team and other senior support analysts to assist with other support functions if necessary. 
  • Assists in other cross-functional roles, i.e., Account Management, Retail Pricing, etc. Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 0-3 years of relevant experience in the Energy industry.
  • Good communication skills, written and oral, for example ensuring sales agents are kept informed of any delays in turning around pricing requests, or outlining the rationale behind a decision not to approve credit for a customer.
  • Analytical mindset, demonstrate ability to problem solve and create practical solutions to overcome problems and mitigate risks.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven and fast-changing environment, and able to respond to changing business needs
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook and strong Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships
  • Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge
  • Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly and demonstrate effective problem solving and follow-up skills

LOCATION & WORK SCHEDULE

  • Required to be in-person in Houston, TX through a hybrid workplace environment
