WHERE YOU FIT IN

We are looking for a highly motivated university student with a genuine interest in energy, business, technology, and a passion to join us for a summer internship project. The Contracts Administrator Intern will engage in a 10–12-week project focused on creating dashboards and scorecards.

Reporting to the Contract Administration Manager, the role requires self-motivated, dedicated, and responsible individual with the ability to perform well under pressure. Throughout the internship the intern will learn of the importance of data integrity, how data flows across different systems and become familiar with the contract management life cycle.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Intern will learn basic PowerPoint and create an end of summer overview of project and skills engaged during internship.
  • Review retail contracts and confirm deal specifics are accurately captured for fulfillment to downstream parties/systems and work closely with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Communicate, resolve, and provide guidance to other departments on missing information and inaccuracies with deal entries. 
  • Gather, arrange, review data for reporting for internal business needs.
  • Utilize reports to locate accounts that have missing contract information or discrepancies and escalate to supervisor for resolution. 
  • Work exception reporting and update systems to ensure the data across all systems align.
  • Push contracts through for countersignature and route documents for signature as requested by the business.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be a current Sophomore, Junior, or graduating senior student at an accredited university.
  • Study disciplines in project management, energy, finance, or business preferred.
  • Analytical mindset, demonstrate ability to problem solve and create practical solutions to overcome problems and mitigate risks.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven and fast-changing environment, and able to respond to changing business needs.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, and strong Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates a vested interest in team goals and objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly, and demonstrate effective problem solving and follow-up skills.
