- Serves as Financial Analyst for technical asset teams, preparing financial reports, budgets, analysis, market research, etc.
- Prepares periodic (monthly, semi-annual, and annual) reports and analysis on production, LOE, and capital expenditures, identifying and explaining variances, for field personnel and management; provides recommendations for improvement based on data and trend assessments
- Manages monthly corporate meeting reviewing operating and financial activity; the Analyst is responsible for preparing the meeting schedule and presentation materials
- Manages monthly field meetings, reporting financial results to operations personnel; the Analyst is expected to prepare, disseminate, and educate field personnel on financial results
- Assists asset teams with AFE maintenance
- Assists with calculations of monthly accruals, acting as the accounting liaison for the operations team; responsible for compiling and submitting cost estimates by project AFE
- Maintains property records
- Completes special projects, as assigned
- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations
