Job Overview:
We are a small medical and aesthetics practice looking for an Office Manager to help with the running of daily operations. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of support tasks and projects. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills, someone who is dependable, works diligently, and independently. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. This is a key role that requires strong supervisory and administrative skills.
Duties:
- Supervise and manage office staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Perform various clerical tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Coordinate and plan office events, including meetings, conferences, and team-building activities
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and ensure its proper functioning
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members
- Assist with human resources tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using various office software applications (e.g., Google Workspace)
- Familiarity with phone systems and other office equipment
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and best practices
