Lamson & Cutner, P.C. is a preeminent Elder Law and Estate Planning firm located in midtown Manhattan. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized person to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. We take great pride in providing top quality, personal service to our clients. Candidates should enjoy working with seniors and their families and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
· Respond to telephone and email inquiries from potential, current, and former clients.
· Provide a warm and professional greeting to clients and others who enter the office.
· Schedule and confirm appointments for attorneys, clients, and other staff.
· Maintain the firm’s calendar of appointments.
· Prepare mailings and cover letters to clients as directed by attorneys.
· Maintain office supplies and order new supplies when stocks are low.
· Engage with and price appropriate vendors to provide supplies and law firm services.
· Ensure that the reception area and conference room are orderly, and that client’s documents are scanned and filed (with assistance from paralegals).
· Review and distribute incoming mail.
Our firm uses CLIO Grow and CLIO Manage for practice management. The candidate will need to be, or become, familiar with this program.
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Remote work is not available for this position.
