Description

PART-TIME POSITION

SCHEDULE: MONDAY-THURSDAY 8AM-1PM OR 9AM-2PM

Rate of Pay: $15.00/hour

1. Maintains office machine equipment and calls repairman as necessary.
2. Copies, assembles and distributes agency informational material as directed.
3. Records all hospital admissions and discharges, sends notification of ongoing care to hospital social worker, and sends medical records request following hospital discharge.
4. Post weekly schedules on bulletin board in a timely manner as assigned.
5. Maintains office work areas, including kitchen, neat and clean at all times, keeping coffee cups, glasses, and coffee pot picked up and washed.
6. Notifies visiting personnel of any changes in patients, locations and/or status as directed.
7. Processes mail and maintains logs as assigned.
8. Provides assistance and back-up for office staff as the need arises and/or as requested.
9. Maintains home health aide assignment book/nursing call books as requested.
10. Compiles and completes data for the Agency Annual Evaluation as requested.
11. Maintains good communication with all personnel, supervisory staff and all departments.
12. Assist with transmitting lab reports to physicians office via fax, dates and initials as sent, returning report to appropriate nursing personnel as directed.
13. Prepares individual employee visit report each week and forward to appropriate personnel as directed.
14. Copies and distributes phone orders, certifications and re-certifications to the nursing staff.
15. Assists with preparation of weekly schedule as requested. Copies and distributes to all visiting personnel as requested.
16. Prepares a weekly visit count per office and distributes to supervisors.
17. Generates computerized nursing narratives and time sheets daily per the visiting schedule and distributes to nursing personnel as directed.
18. Generates computerized Aide time sheets daily per the visiting schedule and distributes to Aide personnel as directed.
19. Posts monthly schedule for all activities within the agency.
20. Assembles admission packs for admitting RN.
21. As requested, verifies patient hospitalization daily as indicated and informs appropriate personnel.
22. Maintains adequate supply of current nursing forms.
23. Photocopies/FAX as requested. Forward incoming FAX to appropriate personnel.
24. Runs generic notes, continuations, nursing care plans, nursing goals, and timesheets as needed.
25. Copies on call schedule and distributes monthly.
26. Prints FAX activity report daily.
27. Maintains memo manual.
28. Availability: Always on time and follows rules concerning attendance. Provides advance notice of absences and tardiness.
29. Adherence to Policy: Always follows rules, procedures and regulations. Completes all paperwork on time.
30. Creativity: Suggests ideas, discovers new and better ways of accomplishing goals.
31. Dependability: Always can be relied upon to complete responsibilities of the job.
32. Honesty: Always truthful and always completes agency documentation accurately.
33. Independence: Accomplishes work with little or no supervision and asks questions when in doubt.
