We are currently seeking a dynamic Human Resource Manager for Highlands Lake Center!
The Human Resource Manager (HRM) is responsible for performing HR-related duties in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, and employment law compliance.

Job Duties:
·Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
·Responds to employee relations issues.
·Monitors the performance evaluation program.
·Communicates benefits information to employees.
·Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill job openings.
·Conducts new hire orientations.
·Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
·Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
·Responsible for auditing employee personnel files, keeping them current.
·Maintains working relationship with union officials and terms of labor contract.
·Reports, maintains and monitors Workers' Compensation, LOA, FMLA cases. Processes unemployment claims - attends unemployment hearings, if needed.
·Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
Qualifications:
·2 years’ experience in Human Resources.
·2 years’ experience in Healthcare (Long Term Care Preferred).
