Responsibilities

Perform receptionist functions for assigned areas.

* Receive, screen, route and respond to incoming telephone calls.

* Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery.

* Greet guests and provide appropriate assistance and information.

* Perform additional clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

* High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

* Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,

if applicable.

Additional Preferences

* Must have excellent customer service skills;

* Ability to multi-task with ease;

* Able to communicate effectively with multiple departments, patients and their families.

* Basic computer skills necessary.

* Minimum 5 years experience in customer service roll;

* Ability to maintain calm during complicated situations.

* Healthcare experience preferred.
