The primary mandate of this role is to lead the development and enhancement of internal productivity tools for our portfolio managers, marketers, scouts, and residency program managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a passion for technology and venture investing, and a track record of driving innovation and efficiency through internal tools and systems. They will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to analyse and synthesise business processes across a broad range of functional and regional stakeholders, and translate these insights into technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their workflows and pain points.
  • Lead the ideation, prioritisation, and development of internal productivity tools and systems, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to define requirements, scope projects, and drive execution.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to gather insights and validate product hypotheses.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of internal tools and initiatives.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Embrace a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organisation.
  • Work flexibly with global stakeholders across a number of timezones.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in technology-driven growth companies, venture capital firms, or startups.

Required experience:

  • Building, owning, driving and communicating your product roadmap.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading the development and implementation of complex business processes, internal productivity tools or enterprise software solutions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • An innate ability to identify, prioritise and translate pain points into effective solutions; including creating clear product requirements for designers and developers.

Desired experience:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a deep passion for innovation, technology, and venture investing.
  • Experience working in small teams within growth-stage or startup companies is highly desirable.

What we offer

  • Hybrid working: 2 days in our central Sydney office per week.
  • Autonomy in your role.
  • A non-hierarchical, results focused environment.
  • Long term incentive plan aligned to the success of our global investment funds.
