Why not see where we can go?Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Product Manager to join our Group Life and Retirement business.Reporting to the Head of Product and Retirement, you will be at the forefront of TAL’s growing retirement business, ensuring our retirement partners are onboarded under sustainable contractual and governance structures, working closely with partners to co-design solutions that are tailored to and improve the retirement outcomes for their members, while managing our existing retirement products.This is a permanent role, working flexibly from our Sydney office.In this role you will: Work with our retirement partners to co-design solutions which are tailored to the fund’s membership and improve retirement outcomes.Onboard new retirement partners under sustainable contractual and governance structures.Manage and maintain customer, partner, regulatory and compliance obligations regarding existing and new retirement products.Ensure internal TAL requirements, policies and due diligence is met regarding policy contracts, product disclosure and customer/partner collateral.Build meaningful and trusted relationships with our retirement partners and key internal stakeholders.Be the product lead on regulatory and compliance initiatives in relation to the retirement business, including monitoring and implementing change.Contribute to TAL thought leadership and industry/regulatory submissions focused on providing better outcomes and protection for Australians in retirement.Day to day product management of modern retirement income products, including customer and partner communications, being an escalation point for product queries or complaints and compliance and risk management.QualificationsStrong experience working in superannuation and/or retirementMinimum 3 years’ experience working in a Product Manager roleComprehensive knowledge of superannuation and retirement, including current and proposed regulations impacting on retirementResilient, engaging, and passionate about working with stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes, and an ability to support cross-functional, interdisciplinary teamsAbility to think critically and analytically and use data-driven insights to solve problemsInnovative, creative, and curious with a strong growth mindsetDetail-oriented, accurate and accountable for your deliverablesStrong verbal and written communication skillsYou’re always accountable for your actions.
