Product Manager / Product Owner - Remote (Singapore, Sydney or UK preferred) 

GTreasury has a vision to create the next-generation of technology tools for the global, corporate financial office. We are an established market leader in the SaaS treasury management space, and are expanding globally through a combination of cash management, connectivity, and financial risk management. We are looking for a forward-thinking and innovative Product evangelist to join our Product and Technology team.

As a hybrid Product Manager / Product Owner at GTreasury, you will join a talented team focused on delivering best in class software solutions to our innovative and industry-leading products.

You’re comfortable partnering with leaders from various departments to gain organizational buy-in and evangelize your ideas.

What you will do:

• Help to define the roadmap and to manage delivery in the Financial Risk space (Financial Instruments Management, Derivative Valuations, Risk Management).
• Lead Agile teams to deliver on the company’s strategic direction while defining Features and User Stories.
• Define and articulate new opportunities, and work in close concert with executive leadership, GTreasury technology team and various business teams, to articulate specific goals.
• Responsible for being the voice of the customer across the organization, and translate the product needs into requirements, drive consensus across GTreasury internal and external stakeholders, and ultimately deliver the product vision to the market
• Take the lead of one or more scrum teams.
• Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria and business context, ensuring they meet an agreed-upon definition of ready.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog for one or more scrum teams, striving for maximum value that is aligned with the organization’s product strategy.
• Drive and facilitate user story refinement and prioritization sessions, ensuring the backlog contains 3-4 sprints of actionable and valuable work.
• Manage, prioritize, and assess the impact of work items, such as new features and defects.
• Serve as the liaison between product and development teams.
• Communicate product backlog priorities to stakeholders and Executive Leadership.
• Assist with the elaboration of epics, themes, and features into user stories that are small enough, or granular enough, to be achieved in a single sprint.
• Participate in sprint planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
• Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics for product features.
• Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
• Liaise with the Product team and end-users to deliver updates.
• Document product functionality and prepare release notes.
• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.

Who we are looking for:

• 5 years of product experience working at a SaaS company, or a financial services company focused on business / commercial clients.
• Financial markets knowledge – any/all: FX, Interest Rates, Commodities, Treasury, Risk, Hedge Accounting, VaR, CFaR, Credit Risk, Market Risk preferred.
• A product evangelist with a focus on delivering for clients.
• Knowledgeable in SaaS technology and financial services.
• Familiar with product development in Agile.
• Strong ability to collaborate across broad organizations including technology, marketing, sales, operations, and finance.
• Demonstrated experience working on new products in high growth markets.
• Experience working in a virtual team setting.
• Experience with financial platform implementation projects preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
• Familiarity with software programs including, but not limited to, Azure DevOps, Jira / Confluence, or similar tools is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Etc.).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Creative thinker with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to details.
• Industry relevant degree, diploma, and/or certifications or relevant work experience preferred.
