Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, handle clerical tasks, and assist in maintaining an efficient office environment.
Duties:
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents
- Assist in answering and directing phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Support office staff with administrative tasks as needed
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
- Assist in event planning and coordination
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Assist in order entry and processing
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant, Clerk, or in a similar role
- Proficiency in typing and data entry
- Knowledge of receptionist duties is a plus
- Experience in customer service or customer support roles preferred
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling multiple phone lines
- Ability to transcribe information accurately
- Previous experience in a home care or nursing home is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
