Vehicle Operations Specialist

Location: Chattanooga, TN
Pay: $20-23.72/hour

Role Overview:

As a Vehicle Operations Specialist in our Corporate Vehicle Services team, you’ll be the go-to person for all vehicle-related operations. You’ll manage everything from handling customer inquiries to processing vehicle deliveries. Your role will involve:

• Customer Interaction:
• Answer questions via phone, email, Skype, and in-person.
• Use various tools and systems (eTag, Supertool, VTRACS) to provide accurate information.
• Vehicle Management:
• Process documents for leased, assigned, and pool vehicles.
• Oversee the delivery of approximately 1,000 vehicles annually.
• Assist customers in selecting vehicle options and placing orders.
• Ensure all vehicle paperwork is correctly handled, adhering to Tennessee state regulations.
• Delivery and Return:
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and feature demonstrations for customers.
• Process vehicle returns, check for damages, and inform customers of any charges.
• Internal Collaboration:
• Work with product evaluation teams.
• Monitor reports and manage vehicles for terminated employees.
• Liaise with local VW and Audi dealers, and body shops.
• Special Programs:
• Implement and support special programs approved by top management.
• Maintain service, warranty, and vehicle procedures.
• Reconcile reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Corporate offices on various tasks.
• Assist employees and their families with loaner vehicles.
• Collect unpaid debts from inactive employees.
• Manage vehicle recovery processes as needed.
• Handle vehicle registration renewals and violation notices.
• Give presentations to new hires about the leasing program.
• Participate in the Annual Vehicle Confirmation process.
• Process termination paperwork for employees.
