APPLE ROOFING is Hiring a Roofing Estimator Near Fort Myers, FL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed estimate for residential projects (shingle, tile & metal)
- Analyze requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
- Determine what factors of production will influence the cost
- Maintain current market pricing for materials in the estimating system
- Generate job cost reports
- Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors
- Perform hand-off meetings to assigned project managers
- Present prepared estimates to management
- Associates Degree in Construction or similar field, preferred
- Familiarity with The Edge estimating software, a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow
- Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for residential projects
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficient
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and perform roof inspections
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify)
- $80-90k - DOE
