Human Resource Assistant

DATE: March 19, 2024 CLOSING DATE: UNTIL FILLED

POSITION: Human Resource Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

Responsibilities:

The Human Resource Assistant will perform a wide variety of administrative tasks and technical duties in the County HR Department to support effective and efficient operations of the Anderson County Human Resources Department to include coordinating workers compensation claims with insurance carrier and claims management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Competencies for Successful Performance of Job Duties:

    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

Required Licenses or Certifications:

    A valid Driver’s License or ability to obtain one.

Minimum Qualifications:

Formal Education and Experience

    Associate degree
    3 to 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
