First Quality focuses on private label and branded product lines.

We are seeking a Human Resources Recruiting Specialist to focus on sourcing, interviewing, and identifying top talent for our Hourly Team Member positions.

This position will recruit for all Hourly positions in Operations, Maintenance, and support functions. The Human Resources Recruitment Specialist will attend and represent FQTSE at local career fairs and offsite hiring events.

This position will represent FQTSE to candidates with enthusiasm, professionalism, and knowledge of our company.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Establish a strong rapport with hiring managers to understand their strategic staffing needs and fill vacancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure clear mutual understanding of staffing priorities and practical constraints.
  • Guide the hiring managers through the recruitment process where needed.
  • Manage communications between applicants, hiring managers and others to keep all parties apprised of the status of each search.
  • Recommend creative and alternative advertising venues and strategies.
  • Review online applications, evaluate qualifications of both internal and external candidates, conduct prescreen interviews to analyze candidate experience and fit, and coordinate interviews for external and internal Hourly positions.
  • Manage candidate interview results and selection decision with hiring manager. Provide candidates feedback on interview results as appropriate.
  • Complete pre-employment screenings on selected candidates.
  • Participate in the offer process including preparing offer letter / employment agreements.
  • Partner with Corporate Human Resources Department and local IT department in order to ensure proper submission of all new hire documentation is received.
  • Participate in local school and college recruiting events. Be proactive, think strategically, and network in search of stellar candidates for Hourly positions.
  • Track applicant flow, maintain pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration, help collect and analyze recruitment data.
  • Conduct informational interviews with potential candidates. Solicit and prioritize internal referrals.
  • Attend career fairs and conferences to promote First Quality and deepen the pool of potential candidates. Provide information on company operations and employment opportunities to potential applicants.

The ideal candidate will possess the following :

  • Bachelor’s degree, or relevant equivalent experience plus a minimum of 4 years related professional experience, preferably in a full life cycle recruitment structure.
  • Knowledge of HR and employment laws is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with hiring managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to be professional, calm, flexible, resilient, solution oriented, and creative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and representational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases including applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information.
