Job Title: Returns Processor

Reports to: Branch Manager

Job Summary:

Returns processors are responsible for the management of incoming returns to branch locations by verifying product validity and condition and returning to the appropriate vendor or stock location.

Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the return of products, materials, and supplies at the branch location.
• Responsible for the tracking and status of returns and return PO’s.
• Engages with vendors and sales team regularly.
• Maintains accurate inventory records.
• Receives goods and verifies that quality and count of all items.
• Accountable that procedures are followed and in a timely manner.
• Accurately maintains records/queues for requested goods returned, damaged, and missing.
• Completes paperwork for damaged claims for in-transit damage.
• Transports materials to inventory or to shipping area with hand truck or means as needed.

ERP Specialist Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to accurately sort, count and verify items returned.
• Basic understanding of shipment and warehouse procedures (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft office and/or inventory software.
• Able to maintain records, input data and generate reports.

Physical Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• Must be able to work in distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse.
