AMP - Auto Motive Power is Hiring a Sales Account Manager Near Los Angeles, CA

ABOUT AMP:

AMP, A start-up led by EV pioneers from Tesla with dozens of patented solutions to power electric mobility worldwide.

The world's largest electric automotive manufacturers have leveraged the company's unrivaled expertise from the very beginning of the EV wave, and numerous big names in mobility are quietly co-engineering solutions with the team at this very moment. AMP needs a customer-facing Sales Account Manager who can handle the sales initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Be the “Voice of Customer” and act as a liaison between the customer and AMP program teams.
  2. Lead introductory and immediate customer meetings for follow-up and progress towards AMP agenda to win and manage business opportunities.
  3. Profitability of the product commercialization in line with AMP commercial targets.
  4. Follow up on new leads in coordination with the AMP business development group.
  5. Align and execute goals that are aligned with the company goals.
  6. Manage the commercial deliverables with the customer.
  7. Development of contact network with the customers’ commercial and engineering groups; relationship development of key decision makers and potential champions within these target groups.
  8. Understanding of customers’ disposition toward the incumbent supplier and competitive landscape
  9. Understanding of customers’ position on AMP products, including specifications and requirements
  10. Schedule meetings with key stakeholders at AMP and with potential customers to maintain information flow and maintain the AMP profile in the market. 

Ideal Candidate

  • 10 years experience in sales account management or program management
  • Bachelor in Engineering Degree preferred, not required
  • Must be able to understand the Electronics Industry (Component Supply & Contract Manufacturing).
  • Understanding of Power Electronics, Battery Technology is highly desirable.
  • Must be comfortable with use of software enterprise tools (Office, CRM, Jira/SmartSheets, etc.) to execute job functions.
  • Must have strong negotiating skills with all levels of the customer.
  • Work closely with AMP Leadership and support the company goals.
  • Candidates from the following industry preferred - Electric Vehicle, Commercial Vehicle and Fleet.
