POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Sales and Marketing Specialist

Department: Operations Location: Corporate

FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Vice President Business Development

Sales and Marketing Specialist

SUMMARY: Develops and executes sales and marketing plans for multiple communities, with the immediate focus on increasing census and meeting budgeted occupancy goals. Primary efforts will focus on internal and external sales efforts. Works closely with on-site sales team, Executive Director, Director of Healthcare and the corporate team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in the execution of the sales and marketing plans for multiple communities.
• Is responsible for driving immediate occupancy and move-in to meet and exceed budgeted goals of the communities
• Generates new inquiries through successful sales calls to professional, and community referral sources.
• Assists the community sales and marketing budget.
• Ensures the Director of Sales and Marketing maintains and updates the customer database - Sherpa.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with professional, local business and healthcare referral sources.
• Attends industry-related continuing education seminars, professional networking opportunities, industry-related community events, etc.
• Completes specialized sales and marketing activity reports.
• Plans and executes marketing events for professionals and prospects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Four (4) years’ experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining sales and marketing strategies.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have experience working with individuals with dementia.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clear driving record (satisfactory for inclusion on company auto insurance policy).
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
