- Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all monthly information including producing P&L’s for 10 branch offices.
- Review P&L’s with Branch Managers and address issues and/or concerns.
- Reconcile company bank accounts.
- Reconcile Balance sheet line items and provide supporting schedules for reconciliations.
- Ensure branch offices meet all HUD requirements by maintaining branch binder and scheduling impromptu visits.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Assist in annual financial audits.
- Assist in quarterly reporting to regulatory agencies.
- Oversee the accounts payable clerk coordinator and approve all disbursements.
- Support the Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a professional accounting role.
- Proficiency in MS Windows, Excel, Outlook and Work.
- Experience in mortgage banking preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
