The Staff Accountant will perform a routine analysis of revenue by contract and provide detailed feedback on any anomalies within the reporting period. Duties will also include reviewing and setting up parameters within the accounting system for pre-established contractual data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following, but are not limited to:

• Perform monthly closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
• Accounting support for internal and external audits includes preparing and reviewing audit schedules.
• Responsible for the overall maintenance of the general ledger and all accounting activity
• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives
• Assist internal audit in designing and implementing internal controls over accounting processes
• Review and analysis of financial statements, business unit P&Ls, and key metrics
• Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience in Accounting/Finance

EXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE

• 3 years of progressive accounting/financial experience including analysis of data
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics preferred
• Advanced Excel skills

• Spanish is a plus, but not required
