Role Overview:We are seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join our team at Americanflat. As an Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date financial records, reconciling bank statements, and providing crucial accounting and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting procedures, possess a natural aptitude for numbers, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company's daily accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform meticulous data entry tasks, including uploading client invoices and reconciling bank statements on a daily basis.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in recording financial transactions to maintain up-to-date records.
• Offer comprehensive support to the accounting department by assisting with various accounting tasks and clerical duties.
• Take charge of compiling crucial data for foreign returns on a monthly basis.
• Utilize designated computer software to generate comprehensive reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy in financial documentation.
• Conduct thorough investigations to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data promptly.
• Implement effective solutions and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders to maintain data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
• Contribute actively to ad hoc projects initiated by the accounting department, providing valuable support and insights.
• Deliver timely updates on project progress and assist in implementing necessary actions to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a must.
• Previous proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, handling the full accounting cycle, is a must.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST (New York Time).
