Requirements
The Staff Accountant maintains records of financial transactions by posting transactions, analyzing daily activity and ensuring legal requirements compliance.
- Regular reconciliation of relevant bank and liability accounts.
- Monthly preparation of financials for executive review.
- Maintains historical records by filing documents in our shared cloud software.
- Reviews financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Education & Experience
- Associate Degree in accounting, finance, Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
- Strong communication, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Understanding of SFAS rules, accounting principles, confidentiality, and reporting standards
