America's Choice Insurance Agency is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Des Plaines, IL

Responsibilities

  • Assist agents with daily duties, as requested
  • Managment of financial transactions through Quickbooks and agency software
  • Maintain and update customer information in our company database.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and copying as needed.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and other correspondence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • 2 years of experience in an office setting- REQUIRED
  • 1 years of experience in an insurance office preferred, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products- including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy a must
  • Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.

Benefits

  • $15-$20 pay, depending upon experience
  • Office hours are M-F 9AM-5PM (flexibility is available for this position- limited work from home potential, once experienced)

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
