Customer Service Representative (Flooring Sales Company)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join us as a Customer Service Representative.

Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: Washington, DC

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing prompt and courteous assistance via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing information, and order processing, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives to coordinate product delivery, scheduling, and service appointments.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed expectations and maintain positive relationships.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using Excel.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and a commitment to excellence in customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or related fields preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks knowledge a plus.
  • Knowledge of flooring products and industry trends is a plus, but not required – we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
  • A passion for helping others and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
