AlignHR Oregon is Hiring a Remote Sales Representative: Inside Sales

This is an onsite role at our client's shared services location, 225 Ottley Dr. Northeast, Atlanta, GA

Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of plush toys for the gift and souvenir market. These products are sold via 3rd party sales agents or our own direct sales force. Their product range is wide and often customized. Products are inventoried and the ability to fill customer orders on an ongoing basis is a key success factor. Their customers include large, big box chain stores with a focus on sustainability. They have three physical locations in US and shared services such as Finance & Sales in Atlanta, GA. and headquarters is in Denmark. There is a strong ambition for growth over the next 5 years.

The Sales Representative: Inside Sales will communicate with existing customers, reactivate old accounts, and follow-up on new leads via telephone, email, and virtual meetings. This position achieves these goals through show attendance, relevant marketing activities, showroom meetings, and working with individual customers and the product team to create customer specific pieces that meet customers’ price and design expectations. This position reports to the US Sales Director. This position will sit in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual top line sales growth for the Sales Representatives: Inside sales through own and team efforts.
  • Groom and leverage the industry´s strongest product offerings to grow existing customers and gain new business.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor products, product lines, tactics and trends.
  • Develop and maintain current relationships with key buyers and buying groups.
  • Communicate proactively and reactively in a timely fashion to be the “go-to” resource throughout the organization for all customers.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer in interaction with the product team.
  • Lead the planning, creation, and delivery of national comprehensive product line presentations for national key account customers.
  • Ensure continuous clarity on current shipment and orders for all national key account customers.
  • Ensure an aligned, clear process and instruction on executing national key account orders.
  • Ensure timely and correct execution toward all customer needs.
  • Develop and update sales budgets and forecasts for the segment.
  • Drive excellence in sales process
  • Understand strategy and tactics of key competitors in assigned account(s) and proactively communicate internally as needed.
  • Create and present financial metrics of proposed or initiated programs.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Work onsite 100% at 225 Ottley Dr. Northeast, Atlanta, GA
  • 7 years experience with large customer sales.
  • 3 years experience handling nationwide chains / groups.
  • Experience in wholesale and/or import business required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree relevant area, preferred.
  • Experience working in an international group setting and matrix organization.
  • Outstanding communication and time management skills
  • Structured and detailed sales approach with strong understanding of numbers and metrics
  • Strong on execution and a general Can-Do approach
  • Comfortable working in small teams and interest in ensuring a cohesive stronger team and business.
