Beverage Dispense Equipment & Parts Inside Sales/Customer Service

As a Beverage Dispense Equipment & Parts Inside Sales/Customer Service person, you play a critical role in ensuring efficient operations within our Atlanta warehouse. Your primary responsibilities involve assisting customers with their parts orders, managing inventory, and providing exceptional service related to Beverage Dispense Parts. Here are the key duties and qualifications for this position:

Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction:
• Greet customers warmly as they enter the building or call on the phone.
• Assist customers in locating and retrieving beverage dispense parts, such as pumps, hoses, tubing and fittings.
• Inventory Management:
• Organize & Count beverage dispense equipment & parts inventory.
• Monitor stock levels of inventory and restocking shelves when required.
• Liase with Purchasing and Production Departments.
• Handle customer inquiries related to part availability and shipping dates.
• Order Fulfillment:
• Prepare sales orders accurately for pick-up or shipping.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order readiness.
• Track back-ordered parts and provide updates to customers.
• Fill Backorders when inventory is available.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Familiarity with fluid transfer or beverage dispense parts & equipment, including knowledge of different types of motors, pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm, etc.), hoses, and fittings.
• Basic understanding of fluid transfer to assist customers effectively.
• Customer Service:
• Provide expert advice on appropriate parts and materials for beverage dispense or fluid transfer applications.
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Prior experience in a beverage dispense, plumbing or industrial parts & equipment supply store or related field is advantageous.
• Ability to identify common fluid transfer or beverage dispense parts based on customer descriptions.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
• Attention to detail in handling parts and maintaining records.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and calculating quantities.
• Physical Requirements:
• Comfortable lifting and moving equipment & parts (some items may be heavy).
• Ability to stand for extended periods at the pick-up counter.
