Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial minded, passionate about the benefits of renewable energy, and possess exceptional sales skills to drive the adoption of solar power systems among residential and commercial customers. This is a 1099 independent contractor position for new or experienced sales representatives, we offer adaptive appointment and commission structure based on needs and abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Generate leads through various channels including canvassing, cold calling, networking events, referrals, and digital marketing initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of customers' energy needs and evaluate the suitability of solar power solutions for their properties.
• Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and available incentives or rebates.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the unique requirements of each customer.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate quotes, proposals, and project specifications.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to customers throughout the sales process, including answering inquiries, addressing concerns, facilitating financing options, and maintain customer relationship throughout the project.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to effectively position our products and services in the market.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project status using CRM software.
• Participate in regular training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the solar energy industry or a related field. (preferred but not necessary)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
