We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Generate new business to expand current customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Identify and attend events, networking, job fairs, and in-person selling to bring new clients.
• Experience in using Linked In, and social media platforms for research.
• Identify prospective customers, using business directories, leads from existing clients, participation in organizations, trade shows, or conference attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
• Prioritize, organize, and accomplish the assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as requested. 

Responsibilities:

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Create sales material to present to customers

Supervisor Received and Exercised:

• Receives supervision from the Operations Manager/Sales Manager. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

 
Working Conditions:

• The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and outdoor environment. 

 Alcohol and Drug Testing policy:

• This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of proven sales experience
• Deep knowledge of customer relations, marketing, and communications, and managing the “sales process” from start to finish.
• Must be an independent thinker.
• Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, and well-organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior customer service skills in dealing with clients. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Other: Valid Drivers’ License Class C
