Job Description
AECOM is seeking a disciplined and experienced Project Controls Manager for immediate employment based in our Arlington, VA. The Project Controls Manager will support our Project and Program Management (PPM) Business Line.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following?
Lead the project controls function on a large and complex project
Manages controls, forecasting, and reporting of cost and schedule performance for projects throughout a client's portfolio
Lead cost and schedule positions in a formal meeting, presentation, or negotiation
Participate in in client and/or subcontractor negotiations
Tracking system to ensure that Project Management team is fully aware of detailed change order status
Review construction cost estimates
Oversee the production and maintenance of accurate project schedules
Develop construction schedule including the creation of work breakdown structure
Schedule, critical path analysis, resource loading and leveling
Review schedule delays and conducts independent Time Impact Analysis (TIA) including both modeled and observational approaches
Lead risk assessments including conducting risk interviews, developing risk registers, and calculating quantitative cost and schedule risk
Lead standard operating procedures, process workflows, and program execution plans development
Conduct root cause analysis
Establish and maintain client relationships
Participate in staffing decisions for projects
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must have experience with Construction means, methods, and sequences understanding
Preferred Requirements
Minimum 'Advanced or Expert' status using Primavera P6 scheduling software
Professional Engineer (PE) License
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Can work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Previous experience as an owner’s representative
Advanced knowledge of scope control, change management, and earned value methodology
Conduct risk analysis using probabilistic models
Project Management, schedule or cost management training or certification through Project Management Institute (PMI) or American Association of Cost Engineers (AACE) or other relevant industry organizations

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is: $106,000 - $150,000.
