Advatix is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Houston, TX
- Understands the people, processes, and the technology of Supply Chain & Logistics
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports and exports, and customer issues
- Successfully evaluate operations and identify strategies to improve the team culture, implement processes, and offer suggestions for improvements on those processes
- Integrate and partner with clients, displaying customer-centricity to improve associate safety and experience, operational efficiency, quality, and costs
- Partner with client leadership to implement change and drive results
- Display good listening and observation skills. Comfortable communicating in person and through documents up and down a client’s organizational chart to transmit intent, requirements, process, progress, updates, and results
- Use the appropriate tools to observe and measure operational processes and collect data to drive recommendations and decision-making
- Available to travel to meet the needs of customers’ onsite locations
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Logistics, or other related field; Master’s degree preferred
- At least seven years of distribution experience, with at least 5 of those years in a supervisory role in warehousing
- Proven excellence in Operational Management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Previous experience using project-related technology
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Prior experience in ERP system conversion (SXe/CSD implementation)
- Team-oriented, creative, highly driven, and self-motivated
- Exceptional analytical, project management, and leadership skills
- Experience in a LEAN Environment; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
- Travel 70-80%
