Aduro Advisors is looking for bright and talented individuals to join our Operations team working to support top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing Aduro’s marketing strategy on a day-to-day basis. Ideal candidates are highly organized, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about turning strategic vision into a reality. This role is well-suited for someone who has the desire to own a broad set of responsibilities. They see no vision too large to execute and no task too small to tackle. The Marketing Manager is a dynamic role that will range from social media management to collateral creation as well as some Aduro client-facing responsibilities. Ideal candidates are excellent project managers who prioritize competing tasks, and collaborate well with stakeholders across the organization.

Here is the type of work you will do:

• Collaborate with the COO on Aduro brand vision and Marketing Roadmap
• Serve as the day-to-day project manager on key Aduro marketing initiatives (as outlined in the Marketing Roadmap) with the oversight from the COO and in collaboration with the Client Service Operations and Business Development teams
• Understand and effectively articulate Aduro’s unique brand through the copy and design elements of social media content, marketing collateral, and other marketing work products
• Note: strong marketing copywriting is a requirement of this role; light design work is performed in Canva and Mailchimp with the expectation that larger design projects are outsourced to a design consultant
• Post and track performance of internally-developed social media content; propose ways to increase Aduro’s online presence 
• Manage the Aduro Client Event Sponsorship calendar including understanding Aduro’s strategy for event sponsorships, tracking to internal sponsorship budget, and managing the sponsorship process with Aduro client representatives
• Manage Aduro Advisors website, including updating content and collaborating with external website team as needed 

The salary range for the Marketing Manager position is $90,000 - $105,000. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level.

Requirements

• You have 5 years’ experience in a dynamic marketing role; marketing role at a high-growth company or service company is a plus
• Knowledge of the Venture Capital industry and the service offerings of a fund admin is a plus
• Experience creating robust, refined, and engaging collateral 
• Experience posting to social media including LinkedIn, X, Vimeo, etc. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Comfortable with software systems including Canva, Mailchimp, Wordpress, Gsuite, Microsoft Office, Box, Slack
