LRE Water is Hiring a Remote Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager shall manage and evolve LRE Water’s brand identity, build brand awareness and market position, and support implementation of the firm’s growth strategies and strategic vision. The person in this role will develop and implement systems and processes for marketing tasks, manage a variety of marketing initiatives and projects, give direction and guidance to marketing staff on the execution of marketing efforts, and oversee the cohesive use and implementation of the LRE Water brand throughout the Company. This position reports to the Chief Business Development Officer. This position is a supervisory role, overseeing a team of direct reports.

Main Responsibilities

  • Formulate, direct, and execute marketing activities, initiatives, and projects to support firm-wide goals, and promote Company and professional service offerings.
  • Prioritize, plan, and respond to marketing requests
  • Manage the production and submittal of proposals and qualification packages, from positioning phase through selection/win (In-Design proficiency required)
  • Create, edit, and maintain a library of marketing materials and collateral such as resumes outlining staff qualifications, project descriptions or abstracts of service offerings, photographs, graphics, and statements of qualification to differentiate and promote the firm’s capabilities
  • Plan and coordinate branding initiatives and social media presence
  • Oversee the maintenance of the company website
  • Initiate market research studies or analyze their findings
  • Analyze and report on business developments and market trends within the industry
  • May attend technical conferences, trade shows, and events
  • Assist in the strategic implementation and management of LRE Water’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) process
  • In collaboration with the Chief of Business Development, establish and manage the firm’s marketing budget
  • In collaboration with the Chief of Business Development, analyze and report on key marketing metrics, including professional service revenue, percent of continuing client business, numbers of new clients, proposal success rates, number of inquiries from new clients based on marketing and PR activities, success rates of client association involvement, recognition, and conference attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide direction to Marketing Team members including, but not limited to, Proposal Coordinator(s) and Communication Coordinator(s)
  • Supervise projects and associated activities that execute marketing objectives, strategies, and programs for LRE Water
  • Accomplish department objectives by supervising staff, and organizing and monitoring work progress
  • Support and coach individuals on the Marketing Team
  • Provide feedback on employee work performance

Qualifications

  • Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
  • 5 years of industry experience assisting or managing preparation of marketing materials for a professional services firm (experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) preferred)
  • Required technical skills:
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and/or Premiere Rush), Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite
  • Experience developing and implementing workflows and organizational processes for marketing activities
  • Experience managing the preparation and development of competitive proposals which includes leading the full life cycle of proposal organization, development, production, and submittal
  • Preferred technical skills:
  • Able to create graphics, edit photos, and curate/edit video content for proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral
  • Experience developing and managing project timelines and budgets
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing campaigns
  • Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Experience conducting market research studies and competitive landscape analyses
  • Active involvement in Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) a plus

  • Ability to follow established processes
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills, and persuasive writing and presentation ability
  • Has excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Travel Requirements

Although rare, some travel opportunities may be available to visit satellite offices across the United States.

Total Compensation:

The starting salary range for this position is $75,000 - $130,000 /annually depending upon years of experience and education. Pay is negotiable for a higher level of experience. LRE Water reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range depending on experience. LRE Water also distributes bonuses and 401(k) contributions based on annual company profitability. Employer paid benefits increase total compensation by approximately 20%. Additionally, LRE Water supports training and professional development activities for all staff and offers discretionary bonus opportunities as recognition for performance, earning a professional credential, speaking engagements or publication.

Flexible/Hybrid Work Options:

LRE Water offers a hybrid work environment that promotes flexibility for our employees and encourages work/life balance. This role will be based out of the Denver, Colorado office with the flexibility to work 1 to 3 days/week remotely. Work may require travel, long field days, weekend work, and night work that will occasionally result in weeks with more than 40-hours of work. Mileage, expenses, and/or per diem paid for work travel.
