Addison Group is proud to support a leading manufacturing client in St. Paul in their search for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic team. They are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist with a proven track record in full-cycle AP processing within a PO environment.
Role Overview: The ideal candidate will excel in tasks such as 3-way matching, coding invoices to the GL, managing check runs, overseeing 1099 procedures, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle accounts payable processing within a purchase order (PO) environment
- Conducting 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents
- Accurately coding invoices to the General Ledger
- Managing check runs and ensuring timely payment processing
- Oversight of 1099 procedures and compliance
- Resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to streamline AP processes and procedures
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes as needed
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle AP processing
- Proficiency in 3-way matching
- Ability to code invoices accurately to the General Ledger
- Experience managing check runs and 1099 processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Location and Compensation: This is an on-site role located in St. Paul, MN, offering competitive compensation of up to $29/hr, dependent on applicable experience.
