KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Actively promote and drive a culture of safety.
2. Actively promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability.
3. Accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable and actively managing all aspects of A/P.
4. Provide timely analytical support to Management as necessary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage the A/P Shared Business Services team creating and maintaining a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability.
2. Handle training, coaching, mentoring, balancing workloads, assigning tasks, planning, and hiring/firing.
3. Assist with weekly payments via Automated Clearing House (ACH), and/or check/wire.
4. Resolves issues or concerns with vendors pertaining to payment and disbursement.
5. Ensures payments are made in a timely manner and invoices are handled correctly.
6. Works with other departments/locations regarding invoices/payment to vendors.
7. Enters information for invoices as needed. Runs monthly and year-end close reports.
8. Maintains, analyzes and reconciles accounts payable ledger accounts.
9. Facilitate onboarding of new entities to AP shared business services.
10. Develops, directs, plans and evaluates accounts payable policies and procedures, and ensures external and internal controls and policies are adhered to, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
11. Give guidance on proper application and handling of Sales Tax.
12. Be able to effectively troubleshoot issues as they arise specifically with systems and vendors.
13. Spearhead the annual 1099 reporting requirements.
14. Reviews vendor statements and communicates with vendors regarding payment status.
15. Monitor and maintain the open receivers report for the sites.
16. Provide support for annual audits as necessary.
17. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Qualifications

8-10 Years of experience with at least 4 years supervisory experience. College degree a plus. Knowledge of standard accounting procedures. Must be able to foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability. Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with sophisticated accounting systems and the willingness and ability to quickly learn new systems. Strong planning and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize. Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and self-motivated. Ability to troubleshoot issues.
