This position is responsible for accurate reading and completion of all paperwork in regards to the shipping and receiving of product/raw material/etc... Organization of warehouse and the inventory control of finished product and raw materials. Staging materials for production

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Disposition previous day’s production within IQMS by using Job Costing Sheets.
• Maintain accurate inventory control records by checking & recording previous day’s product for accurate count, and physically & electronically binning material & product.
• Move product from designated areas to warehouse and back as needed.
• Prepare product for shipping by pulling and staging product and making sure all part numbers, lot numbers and quantities match all shipping paperwork. Follow special instructions for shipping, labels, etc… Schedule shipments directly with freight companies.
• Receive shipments into IQMS. Verify purchase orders with purchase order receipt. Complete all necessary incoming paperwork. Where applicable bin items physical and electronically. Send copies of receiving documentation to designated consignee(s).
• Stage materials required to meet the production schedule.
• Conduct weekly inventory and review with Central Purchasing to ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed
•  Ensure that all equipment safeties are not altered or defeated.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience manufacturing environment
• Forklift trained / experience
• Understanding of inventory controls and manufacturing practices
• Organization & Documentation Skills
• Vendor Relationships & Customer Service
• Computer experience, including Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word & Excel).
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must have good vision
• Must have manual dexterity
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Repetitive motions are required
• Must be able to move 1100 lb. gaylords with a pallet jack
• Requires frequent bending, squatting, and twisting motions
• Must be able to climb stepladders
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs
• Must be available for overtime as needed
• Environment: Noise level is uncontrolled (Ear plugs are provided.)
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Valid drivers license required
• Travel is required
• Perform job duties in accordance to ISO 13485/9001 including ISO audits
