A-1 Nursing Care is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Columbus, OH

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and coordinating training for new Home Health Aides (HHA) and Designated Support Professionals (DSP) to meet the Agency's needs on a weekly basis. Additional administrative and general office work is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Recruit, hire, and interview candidates based on the needs of the Branch
  • Coordinate and schedule training of candidates to HHA and DSP requirements if needed
  • Coordinate and ensure pre-employment activities are completed and in compliance with company standards.
  • Conducts new employee orientation and ensures all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate areas
  • Works collaboratively with the HR Talent Acquisition team on identifying best practices
  • Following standard operating procedures for maintenance of employment records.
  • Ensure that all employee records are up-to-date and kept confidential
  • Assists with scheduling, call-ins, and visit verification if needed
  • Works collaboratively with HR and the Clinical team on conducting annual in-service training
  • Field calls and concerns, triage as necessary
  • Coordinates the purchasing of supplies for the branch
  • Perform all other duties as requested or assigned

OTHER FUNCTIONS

  • Desire to take personal responsibility to complete tasks and solve problems
  • Ability to perform tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision
  • Represent the organization in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service functions by answering applicants’ and employees’ requests and questions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education or experience:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of office experience preferably in a healthcare setting

Preferred:

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • At least six months of recruitment experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
