Position : Payroll Manager Location: Brickell, FL (Near Miami) Primary Responsibilities: Managing multi-state payrolls for employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Handling both hourly and salary payroll calculations based on different pay structures. Overseeing weekly and semi-monthly payroll schedules to ensure employees are paid on time. Developing and maintaining the payroll process, including implementing best practices and streamlining procedures. Ensuring payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements. Collaborating with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and improve overall payroll operations. Keeping abreast of payroll laws and regulations changes to ensure the organization's payroll practices remain compliant. Providing guidance and training to staff on payroll policies and procedures. Generating reports and analyzing payroll data to support financial decision-making processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred. Proven experience in payroll management, including multi-state payroll processing. Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in payroll software and systems. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
