Day (United States of America) Location American Dental Associates (ADA) Job Description Acquire knowledge of current rules and regulations to comply with ACGME and institutional requirements. In conjunction with the Program Directors, design and administer the programs' educational curriculum and compile necessary data for continuous quality improvement and accreditation. Ensure fellows education is compliant with national, hospital, departmental, and program policies Manage the annual evaluations process of fellows, office staff, faculty, and program directly involved with fellow education. Assist in the management of program operational activities. Ensure that educational goals and objectives are defined, disseminated, and met as directed by the academic curriculum. Develop a thorough knowledge of fellowship databases to enhance fellowship programs and department efficiency. Train personnel in use of such systems as required. Annually update the databases. Participate in the Institutional GME Committee at the discretion of the Program Directors. Recruitment Participate in the creation, design, and publishing of all recruitment material sent to prospective fellows. Organize the annual recruitment of fellows within GME requirements. Develop a thorough knowledge and use of SFMatch for applicable fellowship programs; develop a thorough knowledge of and be able to disseminate information regarding requirements of the AAMC National Resident Ranking Program for applicable fellowship programs; develop a thorough knowledge and use of the ERAS national database for applicable fellowship programs. Have shared responsibility for management of fellowship programs consisting of an approved number of fellows through appropriate utilization of resources and delegation of responsibilities. Fellowship Program Oversight and Management Provide management assistance to Program Directors, faculty, fellows, and other departmental staff by supplying shared clarification of organizational and departmental policies, standards, operational procedures, and guidelines. Communicate with fellows and Department Leadership regarding departmental and program activities. Organize team meetings and departmental activities as required. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the continuation of quality fellow education. Interface with the Institutional office of GME and work with the Designated Institutional Official. Requirements Bachelor's degree required. Two (2) years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, nonprofit management or related field preferred but not required. Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills required; some grant writing experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft computer software applications, working knowledge of content management and publishing, software, and database technologies. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Organizational skills: Ability to establish priorities and react promptly to a large variety of requests and needs, sometimes in stressful situations. High level of attention to detail; ability to multi-task.
